Glasgow Wealth Limited are recruiting for the following positions. In the first instance, please submit your CV and a covering email to recruitment@glasgowwealth.co.uk for the attention of our Principal with details of your current and expected remuneration. All enquiries will be treated with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Financial Planning Consultant:

An experienced Financial Planner is required to complement our financial planning team.

Based in Glasgow city centre, we are a small independent firm, focussed on building long term relationships and passionate about the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.

Having experienced significant organic growth recently, we are keen to continue the development of our client base and to strengthen our team whilst maintaining a first-rate technical service for our clients.

The Person & the Role:

As a key addition to the Glasgow Wealth team, you will provide financial planning advice to new and existing clients – working with them to meet their long-term personal and financial aspirations. Our clients are exclusively private client families or individuals with complex needs. By extension of this, our advice will occasionally include our clients’ business interests or trusts. Invariably, the work we undertake on behalf of clients is technically challenging and interesting.

You will be given the autonomy you require to administer and maintain your client portfolio professionally without micro-management.

Top quality paraplanning, administrative and compliance support will be given as required, leaving you free to deliver first-rate advice. A robust investment management process is in place and maintained internally.

Ideally you will be active in the private client space. Technical financial planning excellence with a strong bias to tax advice will be the first expectation to be met. Sales-people need not apply.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of Level 4 qualification (Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent). Level 6 qualified or working towards would be a distinct advantage. Full support will be given for professional development and/ or further qualifications as required.

A reasonable quantity of new business enquiries can be given on a consistent basis and so there is no requirement for an established client following. However, a client novation could be accommodated if required.

The Benefits:

This is an excellent opportunity for a client focussed, technically-minded Financial Planner to join a growing and ambitious firm.
